Legislation Changes - Drink Driving

Do you allow any alcohol consumption at work, at work functions or at work premises after work?

The combination of lower legal alcohol limits and new H & S laws next year will result in significant increases in your responsibilities as an employer.

Strong host responsibilities and educaion for staff are likely to be essential - things like providing substantial food if you're serving alcohol; monitoring drinking levels of individuals; providing taxi chits etc.

And don't think 'it's really up to the individual'.  Once drinking takes place on your premises, as an employer, it will be both your responsibility and theirs.
