Wednesday 15 April 2020
This morning a raft of measures has been announced – you need to check them out
- There are potentially key tax changes that may substantially reduce your tax payments due next month – check with your accountant.
- Further assistance regarding commercial leases.
- Business Consultancy support (see below).
The associated fact sheet with details of the support can be found here https://www.beehive.govt.nz/sites/default/files/2020-04/15%20April%20SME%20factsheet_0.pdf
Business Consultancy Support – is provided through various organisations (including the EMA; the Chamber of Commerce and the Regional Business Partners Network)
Essential HR is registered as a provider under the Regional Business Partners’ Network. I am trying to ascertain if I need to put something extra together to provide services to attract this funding, and whether there is a special process to follow or if it is their standard one. For the moment, if you are eligible you must employ no more than 50 staff – refer https://www.regionalbusinesspartners.co.nz/-/media/Project/RBP/Business-Eligibility-for-Vouchers.pdf) for eligibility.
The support you most likely need from me right now, will be in the area of running restructuring processes – and you are likely to be able to register for these through my “One-on-one training” (Business systems) service or my “Minimising the risk of a PG” (Managing Resources) service. This should provide a 50% discount on my advice here.
To take advantage of this support, you first need to register https://www.regionalbusinesspartners.co.nz/#register
